fitnyc.edu

Deepend was briefed to translate FIT's visual design program online and to create a new site and increase it's overall usability in order to support the continued growth of content. The design brief included addressing SUNY accessibility guidelines (including blind browser compatibility). Deepend split the site's existing and potential audience into three categories - FIT is my past, FIT is my Present & FIT is my future. Immediately dividing the audience into thirds helped increase usability and organize choices at the beginning of the experience.

FIT Student Orientation

The orientation site was created for new students, before they arrive on the FIT Campus. The orientation micro site serves as a registration platform for the new students, as well, as a brochure about student life and services, residential life, email, rights and privileges amongst other info about the college.

FIT Admission Microsite

Deepend created a specific micro site targeted at prospective students and their parents that provides an overview of all relevant information someone may need prior to applying to the college. A creative Q & A approach was deployed to make the site as intuitive and concise as possible.
